Are you a first time parent? Considering a natural birth? Or are you wanting to go as long as possible before you get an epidural? Planning to have a VBAC? If you answered yes to any of these questions, this is the class for you!
The most comprehensive class on the market (we said it and we stand by it!) The Comprehensive class is 10 sessions and covers everything you and your partner need to know about birth, baby, and breastfeeding. We focus not only on preparing physically for labor, but also preparing mentally and emotionally. We cover nutrition, exercise, stages of labor, building your birth team, questions to ask your care provider, variations of labor, birth plans, newborn procedures, parenting a newborn, and much more. We also emphasize your partner’s role and give them tips, tricks, and tools to help support you during the labor and birth process. You will finish this class feeling excited, confident, and ready for your birth and baby!

Hospital Birth Class
Are you planning to birth in the hospital, but want more than the class at your local hospital?
Our Hospital Birth class is 7 sessions that are specifically designed for those who are choosing to birth in a hospital setting. This class gives you the ability to make informed decisions as your birth unfolds. This class gives you more information, tools, and preparation than the average hospital class and will set you and your partner up for success! We cover topics that are specific to this birth place such as induction, policies that impact your birth, and epidurals. This class also covers the stages of labor, comfort measures, relaxation, natural ways of handling pain, and tips and tricks for partners. We want you both to feel confident and ready for the birth of your little one!

Life With Your New Baby!
This is your manual for early parenthood! Topics include breastfeeding newborn procedures, baby wearing, safe sleep, postpartum topics, and baby comfort techniques to help you and your partner get off to a great start with your new baby.

Home & Birth Center Class
Are you planning to give birth at home or a birth center? This class is designed with you in mind.
Only about 2% of births happen out of the hospital. This puts you in a unique position and requires specific information to prepare for your birth. Our Home & Birth Center class is 6 sessions that is perfect for those planning an out-of-hospital birth. This class dives right in starting with stages of labor and giving you tools for your natural birth. We discuss natural ways of handling pain, the importance of relaxation as the key to an unmedicated birth, and how your partner can make a difference in your birth experience. We also discuss transfer, epidurals, and cesarean sections in the event that medical assistance becomes necessary. This class will build knowledge and confidence for you and your partner to have an amazing home or birth center birth! Prepare for your out-of-hospital birth while lowering your chances of needing interventions. Includes Life With Your New Baby Workshop!

Life With Your New Baby!
Are you preparing to welcome a new baby into your home?
What: You spent time preparing for birth but what do you do once you get the baby home? This is your manual for parenthood! This workshop prepares you with practical ways to parent your new baby. We discuss parenting techniques, routine testing and procedures, normal newborn behavior, babywearing, sleep arrangements, making a postpartum plan, and much more. This class also includes one year access to our online breastfeeding class hosted by Mellanie Shepherd, IBCLC. You and your partner will have the tools and information to meet the needs of your baby and parent with confidence.

Comfort Measures Workshop
Need a confidence boost for the big day? This workshop is for you! You and your partner will take in lots of relaxation, comfort measures, massage, imagery for labor, as well as communication skills for labor. This workshop does not replace a childbirth education course. The beautiful workbook that comes with this workshop is one you will want to spend time with for the duration of the pregnancy.
Optional one workshop - 4 hours total - 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Or two day workshop - 2 hours each - 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Your Healthy Pregnancy
Get your body ready for birth! This program helps women build a great physical foundation for pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Topics include nutrition, exercise (including pelvic floor), and postpartum. The 50-page workbook can be read cover to cover, or used as a reference.
